NOLF2 deathmatch coming in a patch

Fox Interactive has confirmed that there will soon be a patch that adds multiplayer deathmatch support for No One Lives Forever 2.

An incomplete version of the upcoming 1.2 patch for No One Lives Forever 2 leaked out recently, but while the patch would install correctly and included a number of changes to the game, it didn't include the related maps for the most important new feature--deathmatch. Fox Interactive has confirmed that the official 1.2 patch will be coming out soon and will include deathmatch maps. The official release is being held until it's determined how patching will be handled for localized, non-US copies of the game.

The initial release of No One Lives Forever 2 did include a cooperative multiplayer mode that let players work together to complete missions similar to those in the single-player game, while the first No One Lives Forever game had deathmatch as its primary multiplayer mode. We'll have more on the 1.2 patch as information becomes available.
