GameSpot has confirmed with Vivendi Universal Games representatives that Lords of the Realm III will retail for $19.99 when it ships on March 16 of this year. When last queried about the game's pricing in October of 2003, Vivendi had still planned on a $49.99 price point. Several major retailers, including Electronics Boutique, GameStop, and Amazon, are still listing the game at the old $49.99 price point.

Lords of the Realm III is being developed at Impressions Games, known for its work on the city-building simulators Caesar, Zeus, and Pharaoh. The game converts Sierra's long-running turn-based strategy series into a real-time game, where players can conduct castle sieges and manage their medieval kingdoms on a more strategic level.
