Nintendo's Black Friday Wii U/3DS EShop Sale Begins

The sale is now underway and runs until December 5.

With Sony and Microsoft's respective Black Friday digital game sales already underway, Nintendo today kicked off a promotion of its own.

Select Wii U and 3DS games are now on sale on the eShop, offering discounts of up to 50 percent. In terms of sheer quantity, the sale isn't a huge one, but it does offer some solid deals, particularly considering Nintendo's digital games don't often go on sale.

On the Wii U side, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD and Star Fox Zero are $35 each, while Don't Starve: Giant Edition is $5. Backwards-compatible Wii games and Virtual Consoles titles are also included, dropping Super Mario Galaxy 2 to $10, Kirby Mass Attack to $5, and Kirby's Return to Dream Land to $10.

For 3DS owners, Hyrule Warriors Legends is $28, Monster Hunter Generations is $24, The Legend of Zelda: TriForce Heroes is $24 (just make sure to bring a friend), SteamWorld Heist is $12, Fire Emblem: Awakening is $20, and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward is $12.49.

You can check out a full list of deals on Nintendo's website. The offers are available from now until 9 AM PT on December 5.
