TOKYO--According to retailers in Japan, Nintendo will be unveiling a new F-Zero game for the Game Boy Advance next month, titled F-Zero Climax. The game is listed as one of the four titles scheduled to be on display at Nintendos next monthly product exhibit for distributors and retailers, which will take place during the first week of August.
Climax will become the latest game in the long line of futuristic racers, the most recent of which to be announced was F-Zero GP Legend for the GBA, slated for release in North America this September. The first F-Zero shipped for the Super Nintendo in 1990 and has since seen releases on all of Nintendo's subsequent consoles.
The other three games scheduled to be on display at next month's exhibit are Pokemon Emerald (GBA), Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki (GBA), and Zoids vs. III (GC). GameSpot will provide more information on the new F-Zero game as it becomes available.
