Nintendo shuffles GameCube release dates

Nintendo has announced that the release dates for several of its GameCube games have been changed. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem will now be released on February 11, 2002. According to Nintendo, the delay is due to the company's desire to further fine-tune the product to match its high standards. The game was originally set for release on December 3. Rare's upcoming GameCube title, Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet, also has a solid release date. The game will arrive in North America on March 25.

Both games will carry a suggested retail price of $49.95.
