Nintendo reveals Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon 3DS bundle

Get a Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon 3DS bundle for $170 or a 2DS for $100 starting on Black Friday.

Families across the United States will come together this week for Thanksgiving, but the day after--Black Friday--is all about shopping...and Nintendo wants to be a part of it.

The Mario maker today announced an all-new Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon 3DS bundle and outlined the various deals gamers can score on Nintendo hardware and software this Thanksgiving weekend.

"After eating a delicious turkey meal, what better way to change that tryptophan into a trip-to-fun than with an after-dinner serving of Nintendo?" the company said.

Hardware:

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon 3DS bundle for $170 - Includes Cobalt Blue system with preinstalled copy of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Will be available at various retailers.

Nintendo 2DS for $99 only at Wal-Mart.

Nintendo 3DS XL for $150 only at Target.

Software:

Nintendo Land with bundled Luigi-themed Wii Remote Plus controller for $60. This deal will be available at various retailers starting December 2.

Wii U and 3DS eShop Discounts:

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Nintendo will reveal various character-themed price reductions through the special eShop deals website.

These Nintendo-specific deals are just a fraction of what you can expect from this year's Black Friday shopping bonanza. Check out GameSpot's Best Black Friday Deals roundup to see all the deals.

Listen guys, Best Buy is also selling a PS Vita 3G/WiFi 8GB for $169.99 which is $30 less than the usual price.

WOW! GameSpot forgot to mention the cheaper price for that Luigi's Mansion 3DS Bundle, which is $150 at Best Buy.

Why would anyone want to buy a 3DS? For that price just get the XL version and a discounted copy of Luigi's Mansion instead.

Seriously though, a Wii U bundle on BF is like $320?  Or I could spend a little bit more and get a PS4?  or a little bit less and get a PS3 with 2 games.  HMMMM....I'll get that Wii U eventually...but not at that price with the lack of games. :[

i would buy a wiiU for $150, it is not a more powerful machine than PS3 or 360 and current gen concoles are both under $200 now

Always Nintendos problem, costs too much.

Even if you buy a system you will always pay a premium price for games.

Nintendo doesn't need a BF deal for 3DS. That thing practically sprouts wings and flies off shelves as it is. It's the Wii U that needs a boost.

Sorry Nintendo but none of these BF deals are not good and I was expecting Wii U deal. Oh well, I'm still having fun with my PS4 along with Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack.

weak. I was hoping for an actual sale on Wii U. I know they make up for it by bundling a bunch of other stuff with it, but I was hoping for an entry level Wii U with NSMB U for 250$. This would have gotten more parents interested in Wii U.

@Tigerbite2 Lack of games? Mario 3D World just came out. Also, there are games like Wind Waker HD, Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 that came out lately

@natalieyan

This argument is older than the hills and needs to go away. Wii U is more powerful than last gen systems. Not sure why that's so hard to comprehend.

@natalieyan You should never buy a system based on power, you should but it based on whether it has games you want.

@natalieyan Dont post again. The Wii U 3 or 4 times more powerful than last gen (PS3/360). Power ranges as stated by fact:

High - PS4/One

Mid- Wii U

low - PS3/360

@fadersdream What premium price? I honestly think ACIV on PS4 isnt worth the 60+ people paid for it.

@fadersdream The hardware is usually cheap but the games almost never go down in price. Its hard to argue with their methods though, they've been the only one of the big 3 that has remained profitable.

@EasyComeEasyGo You were expecting better deals from Nintendo yet buy "Knack" ? Not only me but whole "Gamer Universe" probably questioning your taste.

@bunchanumbers You seem to forget, stores can sell the consoles at lower prices, these are just the official sales.

@bunchanumbers I agree. I wanted a Wii U, but the price doesn't justify it. Bundling it with a few Mario games is nice, but it's not enough yet.

@LastRambo341 @Tigerbite2 Congrats, you just named a total of 4 whole games.  2 of which don't interest me at all (Pikmin and Wonderful 101).  If 3D World is anything like 3D Land, it wont be very enjoyable.

@klaisn @Tigerbite2 @LastRambo341 But we're not talking about 8 years ago.  We're talking about right now.  The PS4 just came out and is better with better games for only $80 more.  (I'm not a big playstation fan either.)  And the PS3 is still better than it and cheaper.

I'm not saying it sucks, I'm just saying there's no reason to spend $300+ on it with what it has to offer, RIGHT NOW.
