I really hope they keep the scariness of the final boss battle of Yoshi's Island, it was really scary when I was a tiny child and it's still sort of unnerving even today just because of the nostalgia. Sounds stupid but I really hope they didn't change that in a horrible way like they changed the rail levels in Donkey Kong. :/

How about some news on Bravely Default? Just saw my first video on it and I am wanting badly. It's the exact type of game I bought the 3DS for with many more like it to come I'm sure.

Iwata must be on drugs he needs to do something with the WiiU right now! ASAP like show a few screens from Zelda WiiU or put out a list of games being worked on by anyone if there is anyone left still making games for it at all... The 3DS will be fine for a few more years don't worry about it for now. wtf Nintendo.

They don't even need a Nintendo Direct for the 3DS. With the lineup in place, the system will practically sell itself.

Next week new Zelda and just 2 weeks after that Bravely Default, both preordered and just can't wait.

@Arachnofunk And give us something that really makes cool use of the gamepad.  Even some non-gaming apps.  So much wasted potential.

@Arachnofunk after acknowledging Wii U as a failure, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they went back to N64 model of releasing games (as it feels like now) just releasing enough games a year to keep people happy while they focus more and more on the 3DS.

But we all already know there's a ton of game due for Wii U in 2014. I'm aware of far fewer 3ds titles due out... Zelda, Bravely Default, a yoshi game and a kirby game, what else? I want to know if 2014 will be as good as 2013 was for the 3ds. Nintendo wont abandon the 3ds just because the Wii U's out.

To my mind The Wonderful 101 is an incredible game and will go down in history as a cult classic but it got truly terrible sales, even by Wii U standards (I think globally it was less than 70,000), and things like that make me not give a crap when I hear fellow Wii U owners complain about a lack of games. You people *generalised Wii U owners* want nothing but Mario and Zelda and if somebody made an awesome game without Mario or Link on the box you wont buy it and that's why 3rd parties don't make Nintendo games.

@kopykat81 I damn near forgot about that game. Isn't developed by Level-5? They're probably the ones who are holding everything up. >_<

@marley1977 Yes, because not knowing how to read to bash a company is the only way to say something bad about Nintendo.

@marley1977 The direct it going to be focused on game updates, new software probably won't be shown.

@marley1977 I'm really trying to figure out what they're doing with Wii U. I'm planning on buying one in the near future for Wind Waker HD...and probably Smash Brothers when it comes out, but I'm in no hurry.

@telaros @Arachnofunk After acknowledging how much of a failure this post is, it's wouldn't surprise me one bit that you continue to be a sad virgin troll  for the rest of your life.

@Nev3rtime Geez, I had no clue.  70,000 units?  That's horrible by Virtual Boy standards.

@YearoftheSnake5 @Tigerbite2 I tried A Link to the Past, but I was like 6 or 7.  I also tried the Oracle and Minish Cap, but couldn't really get into them (also at a young age.)  Maybe I'd enjoy them more now that I'm older.

@psx_warrior Yep. There are no official figures out but 70,000 is roughly what Vghartz puts it at, which estimates total sale figures by extrapolating data from a small retail samples. It's not accurate, the game could have sold as much as double that, but regardless, you can be sure that the sales of The Wonderful 101 truly sucked.
