Nintendo has announced three new European Wii U bundles in time for Christmas.
The first console bundle, which will be released on November 8, features a 32GB Wii U and a single disc featuring New Super Mario Bros. U and its expansion New Super Luigi U.
This will be followed by a Wii Party U Basic Pack on November 15 and the Just Dance 2014 Basic Pack on November 22.
Both bundles include an 8GB Wii U, a Wii Remote Plus controller, and a Wii Sensor Bar, with the former bundle also including copies of Wii Party U and Nintendo Land, and the latter coming with Just Dance 2014 and Nintendo Land.
All three bundles are retailing for £249.99 on Nintendo's new UK store.
Discussion
overpriced.
Sony and Xboners: The Wii U is less powerful than the current gen.
Ubisoft: The Wii U is more powerful than the current gen.
Sony and Xboners: But it is not next gen
Me: But it came out after the last gen and is more powerful than the current gen.
Sony and Xboners: But generations aren't measured by time.
PC gamers: Just buy a PC then you don't have to worry about generations, you can just keep upgrading.
Sony and Xboners: But it's not about the graphics.
Nintendo: So buy a Wii U
Sony and Xboners: But the graphics suck.
I really don't think Sony and MS fans even know what logic is. If Nintendo told them the sky was blue they would disagree.
A good way to get rid of the remaining 8GB stock of Wii U consoles. By adding 2 pack in games and a Wii mote plus controller for $250.00
They've got to push those 8GB Wii U's out the door somehow.
No EA, Crytek, Valve, Rockstar support = A dead console. Not long after these bundles, there will a new bundle. The Final bundle.
WiiU : Los Muertos Edition, you can get it in a retro Dreamcast color too.
Let me guess. Spend £250 on a dead console, or put it toward a next gen system. That is difficult....Mmm...Actually no it isn't. You would have to be a moron to buy the WiiU. And the Nintendo Dreamcast is still overpriced.
So they stopped shipping 8GB bundles to the US, but Europe still gets them? I thought they stopped producing them because they sell even worse than the 32GB version. Is this just all the 8GB units that were recalled from the US, or is Nintendo actually still producing them?
Hey, wait a minute, this article has me confused.
"The first console bundle, which will be released on November 8, features a 32GB Wii U and a single disc featuring New Super Mario Bros. U and its expansion New Super Luigi U.

How can a bundle carry a 32GB and a 8GB Wii U at the same time?
this is stupid
stop production for the 8GB Wii U, very bad memory space when out of the box. you wont have 8GB only around 4GB
Is it me or do Wii U graphics ressembles ps3/x360?
I was hoping a 3D World bundle would have been announced. A deluxe version with 3D World would be a system seller.
They still havnt learned the Basic Edition was even more of a stupid idea than the tablet controller
The first bundle sounds like the best deal with a 32gb black console and two super Mario games this is definitely worth looking into.
Ha.
Three silly bundles.
I remember when Nintendo bundles were THE standard. Mario/Duck Hunt bundle started it all. Mario 64 bundle was right here with it in terms of value/quality.
If the Wii U had launched with a legit 3D Mario title bundled, we wouldn't be talking about how the system is in trouble.
I saw a picture on gengame (though it might have been a fake) of a NSMBU bundle that also had Luigi U which I would love. Too bad it's not coming to the US. Still debating on that Wind Waker HD bundle.
I wish it was a Year of Luigi Limited Edition Nintendo Wii U console
@starcrafthenry Yea, they probably have some stock of the 8GB models leftover and want to clear them out for good. I should have bought one when they were discounted to $150.
@nintendoboy16 Yeah, it had me confused for a minute there. Basically, there are 3 bundles.
- The first bundle is a 32GB Wii U with NSMBU. (November 8, I had to look it up)
- The second bundle is a 8GB Wii U with Nintendo Land + Wii U Party. (November 15)
- The third bundle is a 8GB Wii U with Nintendo Land + Just Dance 2014. (November 22)
@nintendoboy16 The article is badly written and confusing. The first bundle is the 32GB, the latter two bundles are the 8GB.
@b74kd3th Just like every comment you that is relating to nintendo.
@MrCoolGuy420 As long as they're physical copies, I'm all for it.
@GH05T-666 Yeah a green Wii U would be awesome.
