In addition, the game features improved lighting, customized celebrations, saucer passes, and better graphics.

NHL 2002 includes all 30 NHL franchises, 20 international teams, and more than 700 face-mapped models of active NHL players. The in-game music is provided by Toronto-based band Barenaked Ladies, along with The Tea Party, Treble Charger, Jet Set Satellite, and other bands.

NHL 2002 was developed by EA Canada, and the PC version of the game will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $39.99. For more information, take a look at our in-depth preview of the game.
