NFL GameDay 2000 Released
989 Studios announces that the latest installment of the GameDay series on the PlayStation is now available.
989 Studios announced on Monday that NFL GameDay 2000 for the PlayStation is now shipping and should be available in stores everywhere on Wednesday.
This year's incarnation of GameDay features what 989 claims to be the most realistic 3D players ever to grace the PlayStation. Also, the developer says that players can look forward to new stadiums that feature real wear and tear. This year's version of GameDay also makes use of a new TV broadcast presentation, headlined by sportscasters Dick Enberd and Phil Simms.
"This year, we have taken NFL GameDay 2000 to the next level by incorporating extensive input from nearly 45 NFL players, including more than 1,200 plays drawn by NFL players," said Jeffrey Fox, vice president of marketing for 989 Studios. "Plus, now there is a training-camp mode to practice plays, and a GM mode to manage your team over multiple seasons."
