The game will be the first to take advantage of Microsoft's new XSN Sports functionality, allowing players to create their own leagues, organize tournaments, track stats, and communicate with other players.

"NFL Fever 2004 is the first game in our XSN Sports lineup that will revolutionize sports video gaming," said XSN Sports studio manager Kevin Browne. "Forming your own league to play against your friends and create your own legends is what sports gamers have waited for their whole lives. NFL Fever 2004 and XSNsports.com will fulfill that dream this fall."
