The gorgeous Rayman Origins joins the list.

Xbox One's list of backward-compatible Xbox 360 games grows by one today, with the excellent (and very beautiful) platformer Rayman Origins now available.

Major Nelson announced the addition today on Twitter, marking the first game to be added in a week. Prior to that, we had seen a rapid flurry of additions, with Monaco, Doom 3: BFG Edition, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Sonic the Fighters, and more being added over the span of a few days.

There's no set schedule for when new games are added. Instead, they're added whenever they're ready after receiving publisher approval.

If you own (or now purchase) Origins digitally, it'll show up in the Ready to Download area in the My Games and Apps section on your Xbox One. If you have the Xbox 360 disc, you can just pop it in to your Xbox One and play it following a small download. Another Rayman game, Rayman 3 HD, is already backward-compatible, but Origins sequel Rayman Legends is not yet. Unlike Origins, though, that game is available as a native Xbox One title.

You can see the full list of backward-compatible games here. There's no official word on what's coming next, but you can vote for what you'd like to see added on the Xbox Feedback website.
