Torchlight II is the first new game added to Origin Access since the service debuted in January. It's not the first non-EA game in the lineup, however, as This War of Mine is also featured in The Vault.

Origin Access costs $5/month. In addition to free games, other benefits include five-day early access to upcoming EA games and a 10 percent discount on Origin content. You can sign up here.

Torchlight II, an action role-playing game, was released in September 2012. GameSpot's review scored it an 8.5/10. "Torchlight II doesn't innovate and it doesn't surprise, and the genre may need an infusion of new ideas if it's going to stay vital. But Torchlight II serves up the old, irresistible recipe about as well as it's ever been done," GameSpot reviewer Carolyn Petit said.

By comparison, there are fifteen games in the Xbox One EA Access free game Vault.
