Next Injustice 2 Character Reveal Coming This Week, Here's When

It won't be long until we know the next playable character for NetherRealm's upcoming fighting game, Injustice 2. An image on the game's website, spotted by EventHubs, shows that the studio plans to reveal the next character this Thursday, February 2.

Last week's Injustice 2 story trailer showed off Bane, Brainiac, Posion Ivy, and Robin, the latter of whom has been officially confirmed for the game. So the new character could be any of the others, or possibly someone else entirely. NetherRealm's Ed Boon has said the game will feature obscure characters.

Confirmed playable characters for Injustice 2 so far include Batman, Blue Beetle, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Aquaman, and Atrocitus. The Injustice 2 website shows that there are still 20 characters that have yet to be confirmed, though some of these might be DLC characters.

Injustice 2 launches on May 16 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You may not have to wait until then to play the game, however, as a closed beta is going on right now.
