Rofl. "GPU: AMD Radeon". So it's narrowed down to any graphics card architecture released by AMD since they bought ATI almost a decade ago :D

I'm a bit surprised by the decision to limit PS4 to 4 controllers. I guess more than that wouldn't exactly be used often, but still, why not allow the functionality? Still, better system overall.

I don't see any GPU specs, which are the most important when it comes to the speed of the machine.

Sounds like a buyout by Microsoft to leave out something so obvious. Seems to me like Gamespot haven't learned their lesson after the Kane And Lynch debacle.

"PS4 Gpu:Amd Radeon"

"Xbox One GPU:Amd Radeon"

????

Wow, this is such a horrible fact sheet is it doesn't explain how PS4's CPU scales to 2.75GHz when needed, nor does it show the PS4's more powerful GPU which constitutes to games at 1080p compared to 720p of Xbox one.

The Cell Processor could´ve had hundreds of cores but it was defficiently engineered what rendered it hard to work with and pretty wasted

PS3 cell processor is fucking garbage. Thank god Sony got it right this time.

PS4 has a faster CPU. They benchmarked them and it came out on top. These aren't the real specs.

Apart from the bluetooth which I barely give two Sh**s about it looks like xbox one is on top

As long as the new Halo is good and has 4 player split screen then I will be happy to get an xbox one.

Destiny as well should be good and hopefully the division and titan fall.

PS3 CPU is mono Core supported with 8SPU and only 7 works at time, it's not a 9 core CPU

There seems to be many flaws in this info...I think...in my opinion "PS4" is far better..."

These charts are useless.... I'm sure there's game that are on the original NES that gave me as much enjoyment as Last Of Us or anything that ONE and PS4 will produce. I hate people who get caught up in specs as if that somehow trumps good game design or fun multiplayer. It doesn't. You can have all the horsepower in the world but if your games aren't fun, network sucks and you aren't giving me a fresh experience - then you fail.

Comparisons between consoles is just a veiled attempt to bash the inferior XBone.   It's gratuitous.  It's perverse.  It's juvenile.  It's  scintillating. It's addictive...

Baconelite

This chart is not very informative at all. If you are to look only at this, the PS3's CPU is vastly superior to both PS4 and Xbone, at 3.2GHz Frequency and 9 cores. I really doubt that is true.

MuffintopX

This basically just says CPU? Yes. GPU? Yes. Worthless info.

Xbox One question. Say i have my Xbox Live account.......with the new system will my kids be able to play on Live with their profiles (on my system only) without having their own Live account? and can they do this simultaneously with me without logging in as "Xbox Live " guest.

Example, on 360 I am Feral Boar 66 ...the primary account holder of my machine and the only live subscriber. My kids' profiles are "Brock" and "Blade"...on most online games they cannot play with me as "Brock" and "Blade" they have to sign in as Xbox guest....and on some games they can't even play at all without having their own Xbox Live account..(Gears of War) .

Is this changing on XboxOne casue the way i understand it ...it is.

hmm that comparison chart is nothing more than troll bait. The 360 later versions included an optical out for audio btw. On the whole its just enough information for trolls to yell at each other about but not enough to actually be useful to a consumer trying to make a choice.

@Gamer_4_FunI know what you mean, but at the same time, its a chart.  It's not a technical .pdf that spans multiple pages.  I am sure you could find one if you looked hard enough, but frankly most people are not going to make heads of tails of it, nor do they care enough.  Look at all the people below that are calling each other names, and then declaring as fact a bunch of shit about the specs that they all heard from someone else who thinks they have a clue.

@VexxRed  It was very hard to program games on in the beginning but is way more powerful than the Xbox 360's. Just look at the current PS3 games and compare them to the Xbox 360 ones. PS3 exclusives are also way more graphically advanced than Xbox 360's.

@VexxRed You are a dumbshit, the cell processor is based off of PPE cores and has fathered in multi-threading for quad, six, 8 and possibly future low wattage processors for desk, notebook, tablets, and phones for a very long time.

aajep is kinda right, the ps3 architecture and devkits were Asian based not c++ western friendly designs. Sony did a 180 with the ps4 and embraced western developers who have leaped past the asian developers by leaps and bounds.  Add to the fact that Sony assumed developers would just write their own toolsets like they did the ps1 and ps2 made the ps3 hard as shit to develop for early on.

MOBS

Shut up you asswipe Microsoft paid off IBM to rip off the core of the Cell. Sony , Toshiba and IBM developed the Cell, at the 11tg hour M$ paid off IBM to rip them off and make a 3core version. Songs 7core version was more powerful, asswipe, Uncharted 2 , God of War and the Last of Us prove that. You fool.

@VexxRedWat? The Processor was a fucking beast, but hard as fuck to program to.

Apart from hotly chat options I don't give a Sh** about, PS4 is on top. Better graphics. 1,152 shaders, 1.84 Teraflops, GDDR5 more 1080p games. Xbone sucks the bone, only 768 shaders 1.3 Tflops, DDR3.

@stickybun

World of Warcraft, The Sims, League of Legends, are popular games which don't require much power.  Any PC game can be played on low settings.  Why upgrade at all then?  I heard the wii is fun and very popular too.  Also, smart phone cameras are more popular than digital SLR cameras, so they must be better.

@Baconelite Up until about 10 years ago Mhz/Ghz was pretty much all you needed to know about a cpu to know how powerful it is. When multicore processors came out we actually saw a drop in Ghz and to be honest they haven't risen much since (they've hovered around 2 to 3 ghz). Now days even though the clock speeds don't look that impressive cpu's do much more per 'tick' of the CPU clock so raw speed doesn't tell you how powerful a system is anymore.

"Microsoft has announced a rather nice extra function for Gold subcribers on Xbox One. It's called Home Gold, and enables Gold members to extend all of the benefits of their subscription to other users at no additional cost .

As well as being able to play co-op with friends, even if they don't have an Xbox Live Gold membership, Home Gold also allows you to share digital games with an unlimited number of other non-Gold subscribers on the same console signing in using their own Gamertag and profile, even if the owner is not signed in. You'll also be able to play digital titles while offline.

"Our goal is for Xbox One to be the hub for games and entertainment in your living room. It’s a future where everyone in your home has a personalized account with all the content they love front and centre," writes Xbox Chief Product Officer Marc Whitten on the Xbox News Wire. "To do that, we had to think about how the system would work and thrive in one of the busiest rooms in the house that many people share."

You can even access your digital games collection on other consoles, and you can even purchase a game on a friend's console and access it on your own Xbox One at home.

Ultimately, this means that a single Xbox Live Gold subscription is all you'll need per console, enabling anybody else in the household to sign in and enjoy all of the stuff you pay for. Home Gold is a welcome feature for Xbox One, we think you'll agree."

@MOBS agree with you but none of the companies really rip each other off as much as followed the best design for low wattage processors. Be like complaining because nike's shoes are similar to reebok's because they both have shoestrings.

He's right, do some research too and you'll find Gamespot is sucking up to Xbox and MS.

@UltimateBastard I read a long tima ago that when you use more than 4 controllers, two lights turn on, which combined make the numbers 5, 6 and 7 (4+1, 4+2, 4+3). Very few games allow this though, some soccer games only I think.
