While there wasn't anything really new being shown for Madworld, Sega's Platinum Games developed murder-thon for the Wii, the strict no video policy for the game is finally easing up. On top of that, the boys from Platinum Games were around to sign autographs for the masses attending the con. We're talking to Platinum on camera Saturday but were able to get some demo time today. The game's basically done now and being prepped for its March release. From the stuff we've seen and played we're pretty excited to get our hands on the final game. The control is solid and has a nice feel to it. The camera still seems to be problematic at times but the ability to do all the over the top kills helps take the edge off that. The game may be catching some flack for its violence but let's be honest, the game is meant to give off that Kill Bill campy vibe. We'll have more with Platinum soon; until then enjoy some video goodness.

Awesome. Its in black and white but it still looks pretty good. Not just because of the blood but finally the wii has brought out a game for older kids.I love the nintendo classics but finally no offense not a baby game.

Sounds like you know nothing at all about the console, yet congratulation for being courageous on such a nonsense you said. Goodbye kiddo ^_^ rofl

The game looks good but there should be different reaction to throwing people in the electricity pump or them dodging for what there about to hit and in the video you could hold them forever and they cant do anything about it there should be some they can do to get out of it or the trashcan the guy was smashed in

Looks really cool. However, there was some bad clipping at about 2:10 with the main character and a tire. This late in development, that's a little worrisome.

No More Heroes had just one type of gameplay and it was still awesome.

Meh. It looks cool, but I'm afraid it's too dependent on just one type of gameplay. Sure there are different ways to kill people throughout the levels, but that's all there is to the gameplay that I can see. I think that might get old after a while. Anyway, kudos to the developer for actually growing a pair and putting this type of game on the Wii.

This game would make Frank Miller proud. The hard edged black and white art style works wonderfully on this title. The Wii is really looking more like a viable option for me as a console where I can find the game I want to play. Platinum is a newcomer but the people behind that label are so talented that I expect a lot from them in the coming years. I'm already excited over its other titles, Infinite Space and Bayonetta.

@ropumar You really know nothing at all

That skinny Riddick guy is really distracting but the gameplay looks fine so far. The minimum amount of controller waggling also looks to be a good sign.

Seems boring. Wii fans are just swinging for the fence when they over-hype this. The black and white choice was mostly because the wii is so weak wouldn't be able to do good textures and light. It does seems unique and full of gore, but this doesn't make a good game.
