Infogrames has released new information on the Terminator game in development for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Officially titled Terminator: Dawn of Fate, the game takes place in 2027, just before the T-1000 terminator is sent back in time to kill John Connor, the leader of the human resistance. Players will be able to take on the role of three different characters, including Kyle Reese (the soldier sent back to protect Sarah Connor in Terminator) and Catherina Luna (a special ops soldier), but the third character still remains a secret. Each character has access to a special signature weapon and more than 20 different standard weapons--such as rocket launchers and shock batons--to take out terminators and other weapons created by Skynet.

Terminator: Dawn of Fate is currently in development at Paradigm Studios, and it'll be released for both platforms this summer.
