A new featurette for Star Wars: Rogue One has come online, shining a light on Diego Luna's character, the rebel fighter Captain Cassian Andor.

As Luna discusses working on the blockbuster film, we see behind-the-scenes sequences of some of the sets, as well as an on-location shoot in the Maldives. That's the location used for the tropical planet called Scarif, which is the site of an Empire military base. Take a look at the video below, posted by JoBlo Movie Trailers (via Collider).

Andor is part of the team of rebels who are attempting to steal the plans to the Death Star. The leader of the group is Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), whose father (played by Mads Mikkelsen) apparently designed the Death Star at the command of the evil Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn).

Here is Andor's official description: "An accomplished Alliance Intelligence officer with combat field experience, Captain Cassian Andor commands respect from his Rebel troops with his ability to keep a cool head under fire and complete his missions with minimal resources.

Rogue One, which was directed by Godzilla's Gareth Edwards, comes out on December 16. It also stars Forest Whitaker, Alan Tudyk, and James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader.

This featurette is the second Rogue One video released in the past 24 hours, following a TV spot that suggested Peter Cushing's villainous Grand Moff Tarkin will be in the film.

Tickets for Rogue One went on sale today, and people who bought them in person at a Hollywood theater went home with a cool-looking poster.

Erso and Krennic will be added to Star Wars Battlefront in December as playable characters in the Rogue One: Scarif expansion.
