New Soul Calibur II characters revealed

At least three new characters will join a returning cast in Namco's Soul Calibur II. First details inside.

GameSpot has learned further details about three new characters in Namco's upcoming fighting game Soul Calibur II. It has been confirmed that along with returning favorites Mitsurugi Heishiro and Astaroth, there will be at least three new characters in the game. The female character, who has already been seen in previous screenshots, is Cassandra. She is the younger sister of Sophitia. One of the new male characters is Hong Yung Sung, who serves in the Coastal Defense Force. Hwang Sung Kyung is his senior commanding officer. Talim, another male character, is the third new character in the game. No specific details have been disclosed about Talim.

Soul Calibur II is currently 30 percent complete and Namco has already announced that the game will be released on the Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2, and the Microsoft Xbox.
