New Shots: Dark Conspiracy

We have six exclusive screens from Sierra's upcoming expansion for Ground Control.

Comments

Less than two weeks ago, Sierra announced Ground Control: Dark Conspiracy, an expansion to its successful sci-fi real-time strategy game. GameSpot has secured six early screenshots from the add-on that include the new mech units and hover tanks. Dark Conspiracy will feature 15 new single-player missions, additional multiplayer modes, and a third faction with new units. Both sides, the Crayven Corporation and the Order of the New Dawn, will also get new units and special weapons in the expansion. The expansion will incorporate new varieties of terrain and environments into the gameworld.

Scheduled for release this November, Dark Conspiracy is being developed by Chicago-based High Voltage Software. In addition to the expansion, we learned last week that the game's original developer, Massive Entertainment, is working to develop a new game that will build on its experience with Ground Control.

Look for more coverage of Dark Conspiracy on GameSpot later this week.
