Microsoft sent us a playable build of its upcoming train simulation game, Train Simulator. The game features a wide variety of trains and railroad routes, including historical tracks such as the Flying Scotsman Railways, the Odakyu Electric Railway, and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. Players assume the role of a railroad engineer, and they must keep track of the timetables and be prepared to face any emergencies that might occur. In addition to the prebuilt scenarios, the game will let players create custom tracks and environments with a game editor.
For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game. Train Simulator is scheduled for release on May 25.
