New screens: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

Ubi Soft has released new screenshots from Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, its upcoming stealth-oriented action game. In the game, players assume the role of Sam Fisher, an operative in the National Security Agency's Third Echelon division. Sam will have access to a number of different gadgets while he's out on a mission, including a fiber-optic camera that he can push underneath doors and a sticky camera that lets him monitor a room from a safe location. Sam can also perform a variety of different moves to avoid detection.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is scheduled for release on the Xbox later this year.
