New screens: PlanetSide

Sony Online has released some new screenshots from its upcoming online 3D shooter, Planetside. The massively multiplayer game is in development at Verant, the studio that created the popular online role-playing game EverQuest. The new screenshots show off some of the environments and character models that are featured in the game. In addition, Sony posted some 3D QuickTime renderings that let viewers rotate the view 360 degrees around a fixed point. These "3D screenshots" can be found at the official PlanetSide Web site.
