CDV Software has released a new group of screenshots from its upcoming real-time tactical strategy game Escape from Alcatraz. The new screens show off one of the prison environments that will be featured in the game. Players will assume control of a small group of characters on a quest to free their colleagues from a series of prisons. Each character will have a unique set of skills that must be used in order to successfully complete the mission objectives. The final mission in the game will require players to break into the legendary island prison Alcatraz to rescue the leader of their organization.

Escape from Alcatraz is in development at Philos Laboratories, and it is scheduled for release in early 2002. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
