CDV Software today released a group of new screenshots from its upcoming isometric role-playing game, Divine Divinity. The new screens show off some areas of the huge detailed medieval fantasy world that will be featured in the game.

Divinity will feature both above- and below-ground areas to explore, as well as more than 150 non-player characters and a wide variety of monsters and items. Players will assume the role of one of six types of characters including warriors, wizards, and survivors, and they'll be able to customize and develop their character by adventuring and gaining experience.

Divine Divinity is in development at Larian Studios, and it is scheduled for release near the end of the year. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
