Micro Forte has released new screenshots from Citizen Zero, its upcoming massively multiplayer online game. The new screenshots show off a variety of detailed character models and environments and demonstrate some of the advanced graphics capabilities of Micro Forte's proprietary BigWorld 3D game engine.

In the game, players will play as one of four character races, all of which have different appearances, skills, and attributes. Characters develop additional skills and abilities by completing a variety of different missions. Short-term missions will take place in and around the city and town areas, while long-term assignments will require the exploration of the outdoor wilderness areas. Players will be able to accept missions both in cooperative groups or alone.

Citizen Zero is scheduled for release in mid-2002. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
