New screens: Anarchy Online

Funcom has released a group of new images from its upcoming online role-playing game, Anarchy Online. The new screens show off the action bar, a customizable part of the game interface that will let players place shortcuts to various items or actions for easy access. The bar can be placed horizontally or vertically on the screen.

Anarchy Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game currently in beta testing at Funcom. The game will take place in a futuristic sci-fi world thousands of years in the future. Players assume the role of a character in a small mining outpost at the edge of the galaxy. They will be able to take part in an ongoing conflict between a powerful megacorporation and several rebel clans, or they can choose to strike out on their own as an independent adventurer.
