Cinemaware has released new concept images from Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown, its upcoming remake of the classic Amiga game from 1986 that combined action, adventure, and strategy elements. The new game will use a proprietary 3D engine to let players assume the role of Robin Hood and follow a quest to save England from the tyranny of Prince John. Through the course of the game, players will engage in archery contests, jousting, sword fights, and siege warfare.

Cinemaware has also announced that it is looking for beta testers. To register for beta test, visit the Cinemaware beta test application page, and don't forget to visit GameSpot's beta center for information about other current beta tests.
