Disney Interactive has released some new video footage of Tron 2.0, its upcoming sci-fi action game. The new video clips each run for a little less than a minute, and they show off some of the characters, environments, and advanced visual effects that will appear in the game. Tron 2.0 is being built on LithTech's Triton 3D game engine.

Tron 2.0, which is inspired by the Tron film from the early 1980s, will let players assume the role of Jet Bradley, a young computer programmer on a quest to find his missing father. To complete the mission, players must investigate a strange and chaotic digital world filled with evil forces determined to take over the world.

Tron 2.0 is in development at Monolith Productions, and it is scheduled for release in early 2003. For more information, read our previous coverage of the game and watch the new video clips linked below.
