Microids has released a new video trailer for Syberia, its upcoming adventure game. The trailer runs for about one-and-a-half minutes, and it gives a brief introduction to the game while showing off some of the detailed 3D characters and environments that players will encounter.
Syberia will let players assume the role of Kate Walker, a lawyer from New York who is hired by a toy company to complete the acquisition of an automaton factory located in a mysterious European village. Her journey will take players through a series of locations ranging from an industrial town with underground mines to a seaside resort on the shore of a disappeared sea. The game will feature a wide variety of puzzles, prerendered environments, and detailed characters.
Syberia is in development at Microids' Montreal studio and it is scheduled for release in May. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game and watch the new video trailer linked below.
