New media: Star Wars Starfighter: Special Edition

Just prior to E3 this year, LucasArts announced that it will release an updated version of its PlayStation 2 shooter Star Wars Starfighter for the Microsoft Xbox. The game, officially titled Star Wars Starfighter: Special Edition, will feature five new bonus missions, an improved two-player mode, and enhanced graphics when compared with the PS2 original. Several newly designed ships will also be included in the Xbox version of the game. LucasArts currently has Star Wars Starfighter: Special Edition listed under a vague fall 2001 release date.
