EA Sports Big showed a video clip of SSX Tricky for the PlayStation 2 at E3, and it has now released the first screenshots from the game. SSX Tricky for the PlayStation 2 will feature an improved trick system, two completely new tracks, six new characters, and revised versions of several of the original's most popular tracks. The PlayStation 2 version that we played at EA's press event yesterday is the farthest along in development. Consequently, it was the most polished of the three. EA is working hard to include the same graphical features found in the GameCube and Xbox versions in the PlayStation 2 iteration, but it stated that some effects may have to be toned down. SSX Tricky for the PlayStation 2 is currently scheduled for release at the end of this year. We'll have more when we receive a playable build.
