Sega has released new screenshots from Outtrigger for the Dreamcast. The first-person shooter first appeared in arcades running on Sega's Naomi arcade board. Outtrigger is being developed by AM2, the same development house behind Shenmue, Virtua Fighter, and Ferrari 355 Challenge. Similar to Quake III Arena, Outtrigger is primarily a multiplayer deathmatch game. In addition to a four-player split-screen option, Outtrigger will also include online deathmatch via SegaNet and a character edit option that will allow players to create their own warriors.

Outtrigger is currently scheduled for release on June 1.
