Sega has released a direct-feed version of its E3 video for GunValkyrie. Initially in development for the Dreamcast, GunValkyrie lets players assume the role of an agent in a special forces team that must protect a groundbreaking new form of energy while rescuing the scientist responsible for it.

Gunvalkyrie is fast-paced, and the few levels that the press was allowed to play at last month's E3 required the player to blast from one end of the level to the other without any regard for puzzles or exploration. The enemies included in the game come in a wide variety, and there are enormous end-of-level bosses to battle. The lead character in the game is played by a female, and she has eight different types of weaponry at her disposal. The only weapons shown thus far include a pulse cannon and a machine gun. GunValkyrie is currently scheduled for release alongside the Xbox on November 8.
