Nintendo has released new screenshots from Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the GameCube. Developed by the creators of the original Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Eternal Darkness is a single-player action adventure game that features almost a dozen playable characters and a complex story that spans several time periods. The game also features a meter that measures your player's sanity. If the meter reaches its peak, your character will begin to hallucinate.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is currently scheduled for release on June 24. Look for much more on the game from E3 later this month.
