Majesco has released new screenshots from Dark Arena, its first-person shooter for the Game Boy Advance. Dark Arena takes place in the year 2146, when the fictional United Arms Organization has just completed training its elite class. Genetically engineered opponents used in training have taken over the UAO facilities, and it's the player's job to reclaim it.

Dark Arena features texture-mapped 3D environments and characters, 20 levels, multiple enemies, six weapons, a multiplayer deathmatch mode, lighting effects, prerendered FMV sequences, and destructible environments. Dark Arena is currently scheduled for North American release on the Game Boy Advance in fall 2001.
