Today Electronic Arts sent us a new group of screenshots from its upcoming World War II first-person shooter, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. The new screens show off some of the characters and environments that players will encounter in the game's fifth mission, which is set in a French town.

The company also released a new video from the game. The new footage is the second part of a four-part series from the fifth mission in the game. It includes a little more than a minute of in-game action showing off some of the characters and environments that will appear in the game.

Allied Assault is the first game in EA's Medal of Honor action game series to be released for the PC. In the game, players will assume the role of an Allied soldier, and they will take on a number of difficult assignments behind enemy lines. Missions will take place in several locations, including France, North Africa, and Norway. The game uses the Quake III game engine, and it will feature a complete single-player campaign along with deathmatch and capture-the-flag multiplayer modes.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is in development at 2015, a studio based in Oklahoma, and it is scheduled for release in February. For more information, watch the new trailer linked below and take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
