New Look: Driving Emotion Type-S

TOKYO - All three racing games on the show floor at the PlayStation Festival 2000 - GT2000, Ridge Race V, and Type-S - looked extremely impressive. And they were all fairly close to each other in terms of graphical quality - it's not easy picking a favorite in the best graphics category. However, in terms of gameplay, Type-S seemed to come in last. In its current state, it just doesn't seem to hold the same intensity and tight controls that its other PS2 contenders do. But it certainly does have a lot of the ingredients to be a great racer, so we'll have to see how the final product turns out.

We've captured some media of the game showing both in-game racing action, as well as replay sequences. It should give you a good indication of what you can expect from the title graphically.
