TalonSoft has sent over some new screenshots from the next game in the JetFighter series, JetFighter IV. It appears that a significant amount of detail has been added since the first beta. The city of San Francisco looks much more detailed than before because of the cleaner textures and more complex models. It also appears that the sheer number of structures within the city has been increased. Aircraft carriers also look more realistic - you can see multiple types of planes on each ship and distinguish the radar equipment. Even smaller details like the windows on the bridge are clearly visible. In the previous build of JetFighter IV, there was ground-to-air fire, but no actual structures or units that were the source of the fire. It now appears that a wide array of antiaircraft weapons and vehicles, such as mobile missile launchers and tanks, will be prominent on the landscape. Other shots show off new jet models that now display battle damage when hit with enemy fire - a feature only used on aircraft carriers and other ships models in the previous beta.

JetFighter IV is scheduled for a late-September or early-October release.
