Tom Clancy's Ghosts, made famous in the Ghost Recon series of games from Ubisoft, have had itchy trigger fingers since they knew they would be redeployed into battle. However, they were forced to keep their safeties on a little longer than expected as their release date was delayed from 2005 to 2006.

The soldiers' orders were finally detailed today, and they're set to keep the peace in Mexico City with staggered deployments next month. Ubisoft has announced that Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter will be released on March 9 for the Xbox and Xbox 360, and March 30 for the PC and PlayStation 2.

Ubisoft has also released a new trailer for the game set to a cover of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower." The footage shows the Ghosts gunning down rebels in Mexico City, along with helicopter combat and plenty of explosions.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare is rated T for Teen and will retail for $59.99 on the Xbox 360, and $49.99 for other versions. For more intel on the game, head over to GameSpot's previous coverage.
