Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV that highlights a powerful spell called "Death magic." As explained in the video's description, this spell is performed by using the Ring of the Lucii.

"Death drains the HP of enemies," Square Enix said. "The longer you use the spell, the more your enemy will physically deteriorate." Take a look at the video in the embed above.

Now Playing: Final Fantasy XV - Death Spell

In the new video, the player is shown using the Death spell on a number of enemies--it's highly useful when performed in the right way. The trailer also reveals a brand-new enemy, the Bandersnatch. As you'll see in the video (the creature shows up at around 3:29), this is a dinosaur-like beast that looks like a true challenge to bring down. The video cuts out before the Bandersnatch is defeated.

The highly anticipated Final Fantasy XV launches on November 29 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more, check out GameSpot's new feature, "Lessons From the Opening Hours of Final Fantasy XV."

A new, more powerful PS4, the PS4 Pro, is scheduled to come out in November for $400. Final Fantasy XV is among the games that will be enhanced for the system.
