MicroProse has posted the sixth in a series of notes by various designers involved in the creation of Falcon 4.0. Written by Kevin Klemmick, the campaign and multiplayer engineer for Falcon 4.0, this latest in the Falcon 4.0 Designer's Notes series discusses the flight sim's dynamic campaign, which Klemmick lovingly refers to as the "Virtual Universe."

Klemmick tantalizes the reader by describing the depth and detail of the campaign, then follows up with a few interesting comments about multiplayer campaigns and finally ends with:

"Ultimately, we hope to run an Internet server so that thousands of players can jump into the cockpits of a wide variety of different vehicles and play in a single game and maybe someday even have a 'real' human plan one side's air strikes as well as ground offensives. If we are able to globalize Falcon 4.0, then suddenly this 'Virtual Universe' will become a lot more real!"
