Paris-based Cyanide has released a playable demo of its cycling team management game, Cycling Manager. In the game, players take charge of a team of 10 to 20 cyclists, and they can sign new racers, train the team, and choose which events the team will participate in. The game features more than 60 races, including all the major races, such as the World Cup races, Vuelta, Giro, and the Tour de France. The races are played in real time, and players control the energy and speed of the team's cyclists and choose when to attack and which racer to attack with. A multiplayer mode will let players compete head-to-head against up to 19 other players online. Cycling Manager features more than 14,000 kilometers of racecourses, and all the stage profiles are based on actual 2001 races.

For more information about the game, visit the official Cyanide Web site. The game is scheduled for a European release in June, but no US release date has been announced.
