New demo: Alone in the Dark

Infogrames has released a new playable demo for Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, the latest game in the long-running Alone in the Dark survival-horror game series. In the game, players can assume the role of one of two characters--the original Alone in the Dark hero Edward Carnby or a new character named Aline Cedrac--and they must investigate the mysterious Shadow Island. Through the course of the game, players will explore different creepy environments, solve several challenging puzzles, and battle a variety of frightening monsters.

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare is in development at Spiral House, the developer that created the console-style role-playing game Silver, and it is scheduled for release later this month.
