Sony Japan's Masaaki Yamagiwa offered a few details about an upcoming patch that will be available for all Bloodborne players. The main component of this is a group called The League. Headed up by "a mysterious figure in a constable's garb and bucket helmet," those who join can help other players online and compete on a new online leaderboard.

Also being added in the update is a weapon called The League cane and a new ability that calls in the help of co-op, AI-controlled allies. Yamagiwa said these are "perfect for tackling challenging areas and bosses."

The Old Hunters is a $20 DLC pack that adds three new areas, ten new weapons, and more. Yamagiwa previously indicated it's the only Bloodborne DLC that Sony has plans for.

The DLC is due out on November 24. It's unclear if the patch will be out on the same day.
