The recent PhillyClassic 4 gaming show saw two new games being previewed for the Atari 2600 and ColecoVision video game systems. Attendees at the event had the chance to see CGE Services' Entity for the Atari 2600 and Digital Press' Space Invaders Collection for the ColecoVision--both of which will be released to the public at the Classic Gaming Expo 2003 in Las Vegas on August 9 and 10.

"The games are expected to garner rave reviews in the classic gaming community once they are completed and released," said Joe Santuli, Digital Press founder and CGE co-organizer. "Both games demonstrate the continued vitality of classic systems and our commitment to their support."

Space Invaders Collection for the ColecoVision will feature ports of three arcade versions of Space Invaders: monochrome, color, and Part II. Entity for the Atari 2600 has been written by classic game author Mark Klein, whose previous games include Subterranea and Pick-up. Players will be required to prevent the Entity from becoming mad as they guide him through doorways to his goal.

Anyone interested in attending this year's Classic Gaming Expo in Las Vegas can order discounted tickets online at the official Web site.
