BioWare has released a new patch for Neverwinter Nights, its recently released Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. The patch upgrades the game to version 1.19, and it contains a handful of fixes related to creatures using spell-like abilities, bards becoming illegal characters, the sorting of community names, and other issues. The patch can be downloaded automatically by selecting "Update" from the game's launch menu.

Neverwinter Nights was released earlier this month under Infogrames' Atari label. The game is set in a medieval fantasy universe and is based on the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rules. The game includes an extensive campaign that can be played in either single- or multiplayer mode, as well as a dungeon master system that lets players create and run adventures for dozens of other players.
