Electronic Arts today announced that a demo of the PC version of Need for Speed Underground 2 is now available. The 345MB demo lets players roam freely around the Beacon Hill area and race on two different tracks--Circuit and Downhill Drift. Players can also try out the game online, on the same two tracks.

The player's car in the online mode is a Nissan 350Z Preview, but over 30 cars will be available in the full game. The demo allows the use of various stores that let the player upgrade his car--performance shop, body shop, car lot, graphics shop, and car specialties shop.

NFSU2 will be released on the PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube on November 15. For more information, check out last week's feature preview.
