EA Sports has today announced that Marv Albert, now in his fifth season of Turner Sports' NBA coverage and previously the voice of NBA on NBC for 11 seasons, will be lending his voice talents to NBA Live 2003. In addition to providing play-by-play commentary alongside TNT analyst and former head coach Mike Fratello, Albert will be supplying the voice-over for the game's tutorial mode.

NBA Live 2003 is the latest game in EA Sports' popular basketball series. Console versions of the game will feature EA Sports' innovative new "freestyle control" system, which allows players to perform more than 100 true-to-life moves in the game without pressing a single button--instead employing the right thumbstick for all functions other than player movement.

NBA Live 2003 is scheduled for release on the PC, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox in the fall. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
