NBA 2K16 has welcomed yet another cover athlete. The professional basketball game already has Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry, and James Harden on its three unique covers, but now Indiana Pacers guard Paul George has joined them to become the game's fourth cover star.

2K Sports on Wednesday announced that George, a two-time NBA All-Star, is the first-ever cover athlete for an NBA 2K companion app. That's right, now even companion apps have cover stars.

The free NBA 2K16 companion app is called MyNBA 2K16, and it lets you view your MyCareer and MyPlayer stats and stores. In addition, it includes the MyTeam Mobile collectible card game. The app, which was developed by 2K's Cat Daddy Games, will launch for iOS and Android devices on October 1.

NBA 2K16 debuts on September 29 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. Preordering the game, however, lets you play a little early.

Game covers for the physical editions will be distributed at random, but every box will come with a foldable insert featuring Davis, Curry, and Harden. So if you think Harden deserves the cover over Curry and Davis, you have the power to make it so.

2K Sports also recently teased that NBA 2K16 may feature college basketball in some manner.
